Job Description
Job Description The Assembler I is responsible for assembling and installing various sub-assembly components on engines, transmissions, ACV ground hop and turrets in the Turret Test Area. This involves integrating engine and transmission components, connecting electrical harnesses and hoses according to work instructions. The assembler will then conduct tests on completed engines in the test booth, adhering to contractual requirements. As needed, they will troubleshoot and resolve issues by replacing non-conforming components and adjust and align gun tube and cab turret subassemblies to ensure proper fit and function. Additionally, the assembler will perform turret tests to specification, identifying and replacing any non-conforming components that fail testing requirements.
