Job Description

Join Our Manufacturing Team Advanced Sealing Technology (AST) designs and manufactures high-performance mechanical seals for industrial pumps and rotating equipment used throughout North America. We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Mechanical Seal Technician / Assembler to join our manufacturing team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys precision assembly, working with mechanical components, and building high-quality products. Experience with mechanical seals is a plus, but we are willing to train the right individual with strong mechanical aptitude and a positive attitude. Responsibilities Assemble mechanical seals according to engineering drawings and work instructions. Inspect components for quality and dimensional accuracy before assembly. Read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, and Bills of Material (BOMs). Measure components using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools. Perform pressure, dimensional, and visual inspections. Maintain accurate production and inspection records. Assist with inventory control and material handling. Identify and report quality concerns. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Work closely with engineering and production personnel to continuously improve manufacturing processes. Qualifications Required High school diploma or GED. Strong mechanical aptitude. Ability to use hand tools and precision measuring equipment. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Dependable with a strong work ethic. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Mechanical seal assembly experience. Industrial manufacturing experience. Pump, valve, bearing, or rotating equipment experience. Blueprint reading experience. Machine shop or CNC experience. Quality inspection experience.
