Job Description
A Day In The Life Operate manual, semi-automatic, or automatic assembly/testing machine in a safe and efficient manner.
Assure that their machine is running quality parts at the production rates.
Produce quality parts in accordance with customer specifications using the Hubbell Utility Solutions Quality Operating Principles.
Confirm work-order is correct
Confirm all required materials are hands-on
Confirm correct set-up of all equipment is current
Calibration of all equipment and test equipment is current
Confirm finished product meets all quality requirments
Complete daily paperwork which includes Hr x Hr charts, counting and packing parts
Maintain safety, quality, production and 5(S) housekeeping standards
Monday - Friday 11pm-7:00am
What will help you thrive in this role? High School Diploma
Use of basic hand tools
Basic math and computer skills
Good communication, reading and organizational skills
Ability to work independently, as well as with others
Willingness to support other operations or departments as needed
Must be comfortable wearing standard
PPE Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds
- Gripping repeatedly with good physical dexterity
- Constant walking and standing for a 8 to 10 hour shifts
- Reaching, pulling, bending, stooping and twisting
