SEAT ASSEMBLER
- 3rd
SHIFTDUNCAN, SC - DUNCAN PLANT
As a member of the production team, the Seat assembler will be responsible for assembling and/or fitting parts together to form complete units or subassemblies at a bench or conveyor line. May include operations requiring the use of simple hand tools and/or power or special assembly tools.
The Role:
Your work will include, but not be limited to: The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds Repetitive gripping and use of hands Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team Use hand and power tools to assemble seat components according to specifications and instructions Identify and report any problems related to the product, process, and quality system Assure Safety and Quality standards are followed at all times Maintain a clean and organized work area by adhering to Lear's "5S" and "World Class Housekeeping" standards Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals, performance goals, and objectives Advantages of working for Lear at the

Your Qualifications:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required Must be able to pass pre-employment requirements of drug screen, physical, and background check. One year of related experience preferred Must be 18 years of age or older
