division is currently seeking a Assembly Technician II - 3rd Shift to join our team in Greenwood, SC! The core hours are 11:30 pm - 7:30 am, M-F. The hourly rate for this position is $20.00 per hour + $1 per hour shift premium. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. What you'll do: The Assembler II will be responsible for achieving daily production goals with a focus on safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity. This role will be responsible for assembling Low Voltage Assemblies. They will execute all required tasks including but not limited to Assembler I roles (Flex and Lean) and assembly machine operation. PowerWave2 hi-pot testing, label making, quality checks, and material transactions in AS400.
In this function you will:
May be required to have or complete QEW certification to perform electrical tests on assemblies. Use various fixtures, gauges, and assembly tools to assemble, adjust or repair assemblies. Use layout, drill, saw, punch, rivet, caulk and paint material as required. Apply identification labeling on completed assemblies as required. Retrieve and deliver materials to the assembly line as needed to initiate the assembly process. Prepare assemblies for shipment or storage, as appropriate during the final assembly process. Comply with all safety policies/procedures and WSRA's. Follow standard operating procedures and method sheets. Read and comprehend electrical and mechanical drawings. Comply with written or oral instruction from supervisor. Responsible for visual inspections of material before and after assembling. Perform quality checks to ensure finished products meet specifications. Flex to other areas as needed or perform tasks in other positions as needed.
