Position Overview:
Sorinex Exercise Equipment is looking for a dependable, hands-on Manufacturing Assembler to join our production team in Lexington, South Carolina. This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, using tools, and seeing a finished product come together. Our assemblers work with a variety of parts and components to build strength and training equipment used by collegiate and professional athletic programs, military organizations, training facilities, and home gyms. If you have experience in manufacturing, mechanical assembly, production, construction, automotive work, warehouse operations, or another hands-on environment , we encourage you to apply.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assemble fitness equipment, components, and hardware according to specifications Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently throughout the assembly process Gather, sort, count, and organize parts needed for production Follow blueprints, diagrams, work orders, and written assembly instructions Inspect completed assemblies for proper fit, function, appearance, and quality Verify that the correct parts and hardware are used during assembly Identify missing, damaged, or incorrect components and communicate issues to the appropriate team member Maintain an organized and efficient workstation Assist with material handling and other production or warehouse tasks as needed Work with team members to meet daily production goals Follow established safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment Cross-train in other production areas as business needs require
Requirements:
Previous experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse operations, assembly, construction, automotive, maintenance, or a similar hands-on role Experience using common hand tools and power tools Basic mechanical aptitude Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions Ability to read basic blueprints, diagrams, or product specifications Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Dependable attendance and ability to work a consistent Monday-Friday schedule Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Willingness to learn new processes and cross-train
Physical Demands:
Lift, carry, push, and/or pull 1-50 lbs. frequently Squat/kneel, bend/stoop, crawl, twist/turn, grasp, and reach overhead and outward frequently Sit, stand, and walk for 1-10 hours per day Work in a fast-paced industrial environment wearing hearing protection, eye protection, steel-toed shoes , and other appropriate protective clothing
