Job Description

BOEING is seeking an Aircraft Assembler Production Test Mechanic to build, assemble, and test aircraft structures in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will read and interpret engineering drawings, install mechanical systems, perform functional and production tests, and verify quality to aerospace standards. Working within multidisciplinary teams, you'll troubleshoot assembly issues, document results, and support continuous improvement while maintaining strict safety, integrity, and quality requirements on mission-critical aerospace programs. Responsibilities Assemble aircraft structures and mechanical systems per engineering drawings and work instructions Perform functional and production tests on aircraft assemblies and systems Use hand and power tools, torque tools, and measuring equipment to precise aerospace standards Inspect work for quality, documenting test results and nonconformances Troubleshoot and correct assembly and fit issues in collaboration with engineering and quality teams Follow strict safety, regulatory, and Boeing quality requirements Support continuous improvement in production processes and tooling Maintain accurate records of work performed in production systems Required Skills Aircraft assembly Mechanical systems installation Production testing Reading engineering drawings Use of hand and power tools Torque and safety wiring Quality inspection and measurement Troubleshooting mechanical issues Hydraulic/pneumatic systems basics Adherence to safety and aerospace standards
