Job Description
Electro-Mechanical Assembler Position Summary Monday - Friday 6a-2:30p Pay rate: $20/hr Responsible for assembling, testing, calibrating, and inspecting electro-mechanical components and finished products according to drawings, specifications, and work instructions. This is a high-mix, low-volume (HMLV) manufacturing environment , requiring employees to learn and build a variety of products with different levels of complexity. Key Responsibilities Assemble electro-mechanical components and finished products using hand tools and established processes. Read and follow technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions. Perform testing, calibration, and inspection to verify product quality and performance. Complete production records, checklists, and digital system transactions accurately. Follow safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures. Identify and communicate assembly or quality issues. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Manufacturing or production experience. Basic mechanical aptitude. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions. Strong attention to detail and ability to consistently follow established processes. Ability to safely use hand tools and manufacturing equipment. Preferred Qualifications Electro-mechanical or mechanical assembly experience. Soldering experience. Mechanical, technical, or vocational background. Experience with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or structured problem-solving. Experience using digital production or reporting systems. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, move, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift. Ability to lift and handle materials within standard manufacturing limits. Ability to safely work with tools, equipment, and assembly processes.
