Contract Type FullTime Category LightIndustrial Location Townville , PA Salary $12.00/hr Date Published 09-07-2026 Reference Number 25683 Metal Assembler The Metal Assembler is responsible for assembling metal components and structures using hand tools, machines, and specialized equipment. This role involves reading blueprints, working with various metals, and ensuring that all parts are aligned and joined correctly to meet the production standards.
Responsibilities Assemble Metal Components:
Utilize hand tools, machinery, and welding equipment to assemble metal parts as per the job specifications.Read and Interpret Blueprints:
Accurately read blueprints, technical drawings, and instructions to perform precise assembly of metal parts.Ensure Quality:
Inspect metal parts before and after assembly for defects or errors, ensuring all pieces are built to meet quality and safety standards.Operate Machinery:
Safely operate various metalworking machines such as grinders, welders, drill presses, and shears.Measure and Mark:
Measure and mark metal parts according to blueprints, ensuring precise cuts and placements. Work in aTeam:
Collaborate with other assemblers and production staff to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks.Follow Safety Protocols:
Adhere to all safety guidelines and wear proper protective equipment while working with heavy metals, sharp tools, and industrial machines.Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.Qualifications and Skills Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.Experience:
Previous experience in metal assembly, welding, or manufacturing is preferred. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and metalworking machinery. Strong attention to detail and precision. Basic math and measuring skills. Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
