Full-Time Position Summary We are seeking a dependable, mechanically skilled Assembly Technician to join a three-person crew assembling large industrial machinery. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to read drawings and blueprints, and experience using hand and power tools. Responsibilities Assemble industrial machinery and mechanical components according to drawings and specifications. Install shafts, bearings, gearboxes, motors, brackets, guards, and related components. Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and assembly documentation. Use hand and power tools, torque wrenches, drills, grinders, and measuring equipment. Perform drilling, tapping, fitting, alignment, and basic fabrication as needed. Troubleshoot fit-up issues and identify incorrect, damaged, or missing parts. Maintain quality standards, production schedules, and a clean, safe work area. Coordinate with Quality Control, Machine Shop, Fabrication, Electrical, and other team members. Qualifications Previous mechanical or industrial assembly experience preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read a tape measure accurately. Ability to read mechanical drawings and blueprints. Experience with common hand and power tools. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team. OEM or custom industrial machinery assembly experience strongly preferred.
