ANCHOR FABRICATION
has immediate openings for highly motivated Welders seeking to work in a fast-paced, quality-centered environment. 2nd shift 2:30 pm- 11:00 pm must be able to work overtime as needed
Job Responsibilities:
Knowledge and understanding of weld symbols Welding (MIG/TIG)- Robot Welding Freehand-weld aluminum Steel, Stainless, and Aluminum Ability to read a tape measure Ability to read blueprints How to use a large belt sander Responsible for continually maintaining a clean working environment Uses proper PPE and follows all safety procedures Anchor Fabrication offers an extensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life, accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity, and short and long-term disability. Minimum Requirements:
1+ years of welding experience Demonstrated punctual and dependable performance Previous experience working in the industrial manufacturing industry is preferred
Environment/Physical Requirements:
This position is carried out in a weld shop environment and as such, has the following physical work requirements: Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must be able to position the weld apparatus in any position the work requires Position requires the ability to stand for prolonged periods of time Position may require bending, kneeling, and stooping Exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, and chemicals Physical weld testing on-site must be acceptable.
