Part Time Pallet Builder

Job Overview Supply Chain Solutions is seeking an experience part time pallet builder. Pallet builder will use hand tools like hammers and nail guns to assemble pallets from individual components (lumber, stringers, blocks). Pallet builder visually inspect finished pallets to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications, checking for defects like broken boards, loose nails, and proper dimensions. Pallet builders often work as part of a team, so collaboration and communication skills are important. Keeping the work area clean and organized is essential for efficiency and safety. Pallet builder pay is structured as a piece rate system, where the builder is paid based on the number of pallets they build or rather than an hourly wage. This means the more pallets a builder completes, the more they earn. Skills and Qualifications The job can be physically demanding, requiring lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Working with tools and assembling components requires good hand-eye coordination. Ensuring pallets are built correctly is crucial, reguiring careful attention to detail.
