Job Title:

Assembler 3 Job Description Under general supervision, perform tasks of substantial variety or complexity which require a thorough knowledge of assembly techniques, tools, materials, machines, and equipment. Works from engineering drawings, rough sketches, manuals, or verbal instructions. Responsibilities Perform basic and complex assembly wiring and erection of products and systems under general supervision. Read and interpret engineering configuration and wiring drawings. Devise and utilize nonstandard procedures. May assign and check work of lower level personnel. May work nonstandard schedules and/or at off-site locations with exposure to varying environmental conditions. Coordinate work with other groups to ensure meeting commitments. Perform duties in a manner compliant with prevailing quality procedures and policies. Perform other related duties as assigned by management. Essential Skills High School degree plus 2-5 years of related experience in assembly. Ability to read and interpret engineering configuration and wiring drawings. Proficient with assembly techniques, hand tools, power tools, and mechanical assembly. Ability to follow standard practices and procedures. Additional Skills & Qualifications Injection mold experience is a plus. Special combination of education and experience and/or demonstrated accomplishments. Work Environment Manufacturing environment with potential for nonstandard schedules and off-site work with varying environmental conditions. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Portland, TN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
