Job Description
POSITION TITLE
FINALASSEMBLER POSITION DEPARTMENT
ProductionPOSITION SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
Perform final assembly of commercial kitchen equipment including warming units, refrigeration systems, and cooking/holding equipment according to engineering specifications and production standards. Ensure all units are fully assembled, properly functioning, and ready for Quality Control inspection. Utilize a variety of hand, power, and pneumatic tools while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and capable of working in a fast-paced production environment with a strong sense of urgency.ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Assemble and complete final builds of commercial kitchen equipment including warmers, refrigerators, steam tables, smokers, and cook & hold ovens 2. Read and interpret part prints, work instructions, and technical specifications 3. Install and assemble subcomponents including compressors, coils, and related assemblies 4. Operate hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic equipment such as drills, grinders, rivet guns, and spot welders 5. Inspect completed units to verify quality, completeness, and readiness prior to Quality Control 6. Identify and address minor assembly issues prior to QC handoff 7. Accurately enter production time, rework, and job data into shop floor systems 8. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment 9. Follow all company safety policies and procedures 10. Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals and deadlines 11. Support cross training and assist in other production areas as needed 12. Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement 13. Perform other related duties as assigned by managementQUALIFICATIONS
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to use hand, power, and pneumatic tools
- Ability to read and interpret part prints and basic technical instructions
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated sense of urgency and accountability
- Basic computer skills for data entry and production tracking
- Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Professional, proactive, and team-oriented mindset
EDUCATIONAL OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous assembly or manufacturing experience preferred
- Experience working with mechanical or refrigeration-related components is a plus
- Willingness to learn and be trained on equipment and processes
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds
- Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in various positions including climbing, kneeling, squatting, and reaching overhead
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
