Job Summary Perform various clerical dutiesin order tosupport QC functions. Primary Duties Inspect the quality, quantity and weight of incoming material using various methods and equipment

Log and document inspections as well as rejections

Placerejected product into designated reject locations

Follow through on rejections using main-frame computer

Use radio frequency hand held scanner

Using various QC measuring and testing devices

Communicating via two-way radio

Investigate quality issues throughout the warehouse

Operate motorized industrial equipment

Participate in department meetings and projects

Operate within standard operating procedures

Maintain neat, clean and well-organized work area

Timely and regular attendance

Other duties as assigned Qualifications Adhere to all safety standards and personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines

Ability to follow verbal and written instructions

Self-motivated and detail oriented

Ability to learn to operate and pass the motorized industrial equipment tests and obtain license

Computer experience a plus

Familiarity of company product lines a plus

Will be required to cross train to perform other functions within the quality department.

Physical Requirement:

Capability to lift 50 pounds.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; bend; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to reach, push, pull and lift with hands and arms.

Education / Experience
