Production Fabricator, Preserved Moss Studio Austin Moss Creations LLC Austin, TX Job Details Part-time | Contract $18 - $21 an hour 15 hours ago Qualifications Fabrication Maintaining an organized workspace Cutting Moving Final product assembly (woodworking) Manufacturing standard operating procedures Millwork Woodworking shop experience Construction experience Materials handling Manufacturing Furniture manufacturing facility experience Shop-based carpentry Entry level Under 1 year Full Job Description Job Summary Austin Moss Creations is hiring a hands-on Production Fabricator to help build custom preserved moss walls in our Austin studio. No moss experience is required. We will teach you our process. We are looking for someone who is fast, dependable, good with their hands, and comfortable working in a production environment. Experience in a commercial kitchen, cabinetry, millwork, furniture production, floral production, sign fabrication, scenic/set fabrication, manufacturing, assembly, construction, or a similar hands-on environment is a strong fit. What you'll do Build preserved moss wall panels using construction adhesive and hand tools Follow established designs and production instructions Measure, cut, assemble, place and attach materials Produce consistent work efficiently and accurately Prepare finished panels for transportation and installation Maintain an organized production area Receive and move materials as needed What we're looking for Hands-on production, assembly, kitchen, shop, fabrication or construction experience preferred Able to work quickly while maintaining quality Strong attention to detail Able to follow an established process and reproduce work consistently Reliable and punctual Comfortable standing and working with your hands for most of the shift Comfortable using basic hand tools and construction adhesives Able to safely lift up to 50 lbs Available to start immediately This is not a desk or design position. You will be physically building projects in our Austin studio. Pay & Schedule $18-$20/hour depending on experience 20-30 hours/week to start day time hours, Monday through Friday on-site in Austin There is potential for additional hours and growth as production volume increases.
