General Summary:

Reports to and receives assignments, instructions and direction from the Assembler Supervisor or Manager. Follows detailed written instructions and procedures to prepare and assemble circuit boards and wire harnesses, and electronic components and cabinets into final production units. Operates equipment to solder boards and manufacture wire harnesses and performs manual soldering activities. Performs routine tests of final assemblies. Maintains records. Performs various clean-up and housekeeping duties. Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required PPE. Performs various other duties and activities as directed by the Supervisor or Manager. Must pass in-house solder certification (within 6 months of employment) and basic math test. Must meet all elements of the Helena Job Standards, Job Classification Standards - Job Requirements Matrix and General Job Requirements.

Experience:

Must have knowledge of fractions and decimals. Prefer mechanical ability, knowledge of blueprints and hand tools. Education /

Training:

 High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
