Sign Fabricator/Installer Job Type:

Full-Time About the Position We are looking for a motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented Sign Fabricator/Installer to join our team. This position will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, installing, servicing, and maintaining a variety of custom signage for commercial and residential customers. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, takes pride in quality workmanship, and enjoys working with their hands. This position requires someone who can work independently while also being a reliable team member. Experience in sign manufacturing, installation, electrical work, welding, construction, or a related field is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Key Responsibilities Fabricate and assemble various types of signs and signage components. Install interior and exterior signs at commercial and residential locations. Perform vinyl application, trimming, finishing, and other sign-production tasks. Work with materials including aluminum, acrylic, PVC, vinyl, wood, and other substrates. Operate hand tools, power tools, fabrication equipment, ladders, lifts, and other equipment safely. Perform basic electrical connections and troubleshooting for illuminated signage. Read and follow drawings, measurements, installation instructions, and job specifications. Safely load, transport, and secure signs, tools, and materials. Perform service calls, repairs, and maintenance as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all company safety procedures and job-site requirements. Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and team members. Complete projects accurately, efficiently, and according to quality standards. Qualifications & Skills Previous sign fabrication or installation experience preferred. Construction, electrical, welding, carpentry, or related experience is a plus. Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand and power tools. Ability to read basic measurements, drawings, and installation instructions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems in the field. Comfortable working from ladders, lifts, and at elevated heights. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to safely lift and handle materials and equipment. Strong work ethic, dependable attendance, and a positive attitude. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing ladders, and working at heights. The employee must be able to safely lift, carry, and maneuver signs, materials, and equipment. Work may take place both indoors and outdoors and may involve varying weather conditions and job-site environments.
