Job Description
Precision Aviation Group (PAG) is a leading provider of products and value-added services to the aerospace and defense industries worldwide. With over 1.1 million square feet of sales and service facilities in the United States, Canada, Australia, Singapore, Brazil, PAG's 27 locations and customer-focused business model serve aviation customers through Supply Chain and Inventory Supported Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (ISMRO) services. We have a position open for Detail Parts Inspector for our location in Carrollton, TX.
JOB PURPOSE
Dimensional inspection of engine parts. The Detail Parts Inspector is responsible for inspecting aircraft engine and component parts to ensure they meet FAA regulations, customer specifications, manufacturer maintenance manuals, and company quality standards. This position performs dimensional and visual inspections throughout the repair process and ensures all documentation is accurate and complete before parts are released for service.JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Job Functions:
Read and interpret maintenance and overhaul manuals, service bulletins and other specifications to determine the feasibility and method of repairing or replacing life-limited, malfunctioning, or damaged components Replace or repair worn, defective or damaged components using hand tools, gauges and testing equipment Perform testing of PT6 model engines and components Performing inspection of incoming parts, and final inspection of articles. Ensuring all inspections are properly performed and recorded, and all records are properly executed before final approval for return to service of articles maintained or altered by Prime Turbines Ensuring the Work Order packages contain the required documents and forms Ideal candidates will offer: Proficient in reading and understanding manufacturer's instructions, drawings, and technical documents Aviation engine experience required. Pratt and Whitney aviation engine experience preferred. Ability to use precision measuring equipment, i.e., micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, etc.WORKING CONDITIONS
Physical Demands:
Requires sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Requires frequent walking, bending, and reaching to shoulder level. Requires occasional squatting, lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling weight up to 60 pounds. Requires repetitive hand movement. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.Equipment Operated:
Ability to use precision measuring equipment, i.e., micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, etc.Work Location:

High School diploma orGED Equivalent Experience:
