Manufacturing Assembly Technician Looking for hands-on work where you can build something you can be proud of? Beck Industrial is hiring Manufacturing Assembly Technicians to work in Glider Prep and Final Assembly building concrete mixer trucks. This is a physically active, hands-on assembly position. If you enjoy working with your hands, using tools, staying active throughout the day, and being part of a team that builds something from start to finish, this may be a great fit for you. What You'll Do Perform hands-on preparation and assembly work in Glider Prep or Final Assembly Assemble, install, position, and properly fit components and parts Install hoses, fittings, hardware, and other components as required Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring tools to complete work accurately Inspect and test completed work for proper fit, function, and quality Troubleshoot basic problems with components or completed work Follow established safety, quality, and production procedures Work as part of a team to meet daily production expectations Perform other duties as assigned What We're Looking For 2+ years of manufacturing, assembly, mechanical, automotive, construction, maintenance, or similar hands-on experience preferred Mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools Ability and willingness to perform physically demanding, hands-on work throughout the day Attention to detail and pride in producing quality work Ability to work effectively as part of a team Dependability and consistent, reliable attendance Ability to report to work on time and be ready to work as scheduled Ability to follow instructions and established safety and quality procedures Physical Requirements & Work Environment This is a hands-on manual labor position in a production shop environment. Employees are physically involved in preparing, positioning, assembling, and installing components throughout the workday. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. without assistance Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, positioning, and handling of parts and materials Frequent bending, stooping, crouching, kneeling, crawling, twisting, reaching, and working in different positions Ability to use hand and power tools throughout the workday Ability to stand and work on your feet for up to 10 hours per day Ability to work in a shop environment that may include heat, noise, dust, and other normal production conditions Ability to work overtime as needed Schedule Monday-Friday, 6:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., with overtime as needed. Because our production team depends on each person being here to complete the work, regular, reliable, and on-time attendance is essential to this position. Our work is performed manually using hand and power tools rather than automated or robotic equipment.
