Assemblers work alongside Journeyman Electricians and Apprentices assembling electrical products to specifications in a manufacturing facility in Hudson WI. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, an understanding of hand and power tools, and a commitment to safety and quality. Local Union 520 Position

  • Read and interpret blueprints while receiving work directions and coaching from area Foreman.
  • Gather and layout materials necessary for the assembly.
  • Build conduit assemblies to prints while achieving on time customer delivery demand
  • Wire VFD's, motor starters, lighting and control panels.
  • Complete panelboards, overhead racks, and threaded rod assemblies.
  • Verify accuracy of work through quality control procedures.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment focusing on 5s and Lean manufacturing principles.
  • Notify supervisor of low inventory or faulty equipment in need of repair.
  • Cut, strip, crimp, and route wires to connect electrical units.

Welding Union Assembler Pay Scale:

$16.85 to $32.56 Based on experience Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
