Job Description

KP Staffing is now hiring assemblers for a company that manufactures power equipment in McKinney, TX! Overview The assembler will assemble manufactured products and pack them according to specifications while meeting quantity and quality requirements. This role reads blueprints and schematics, uses machines and hand tools, maintains production records, and supports equipment upkeep and quality checks. Job Summary Assemble machinery, fabricated metal products, electrical equipment, appliances, and other manufactured products according to directions Read blueprints, schematics, and similar documentation to build to specifications Use various machines and hand tools to complete assigned tasks Maintain logs, records, and reports concerning production, machine maintenance, and product inconsistencies Maintain equipment and conveyors and perform basic repairs when needed Inventory tools, parts, and supplies and contact the materials handler when supplies are needed Check products periodically to ensure quality and uniform completion Resolve identified product issues and alert the supervisor Support team members during high-demand periods by working assigned hours and overtime as required Comply with scheduled start and stop times and break periods for the facility Perform other job-related duties as assigned Pay $19

90) Job Details Previous assembly experience Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software as necessary to complete logs or records Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics Ability to properly maintain and perform basic repairs on equipment Basic ability in mathematics, reading, or writing High school diploma or equivalent required Ability to stand for prolonged periods and perform repetitive tasks Ability to lift up to 30 pounds Manual dexterity to assemble products or machines as directed Ability to differentiate between colored wires, tabs, and electronic components Ability to wear gloves and ear protection
