We are seeking dedicated Medical Device Assemblers to join a high-precision manufacturing cell producing life-saving technology, including pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs), and medical leads . This role requires exceptional hand-eye coordination and the ability to maintain focus during intricate, microscope-based assembly tasks. Core Responsibilities Precision Micro-Assembly:
Perform a combination of assembly, repair, and test operations on microscopic components and sub-assemblies.
Microscope Operations:
Utilize high-powered microscopes for the majority of the shift to ensure zero-defect quality and precision.
Technical Execution:
Interpret and follow standardized procedures (SOPs) and technical drawings to complete routine and complex assignments.
Testing & Calibration:
Conduct functional testing on related medical device assemblies to verify performance and reliability.
Documentation & Traceability:
Maintain accurate records in device travelers and quality documents, ensuring all parts are traceable in compliance with cGMP and QMS standards.
Cell Collaboration:
Work closely with manufacturing management and engineers to identify process improvements and meet cell performance metrics.
Requirements & Qualifications Education:
High School Diploma or GED is required (Must provide proof of education).
Experience:
Previous experience in assembly or as a machine operator is required. Prior experience in medical device manufacturing or high-magnification microscopy is a significant plus.
Technical Skills:
Ability to handle and maneuver extremely small components with precision. Basic computer literacy (MS Word and Excel) for data entry and production logging.
Aptitude:
Strong multitasking abilities, a positive team-oriented attitude, and the ability to follow strict safety and cleanroom protocols.
Dress Code:
Must adhere to strict non-shedding clothing requirements (free of frayed hems or loose threads) for cleanroom integrity. Why Apply?
