On Site Equipment Solutions, based in San Antonio, TX, specializes in the design and construction of parts and service departments for automotive dealerships. We work closely with dealership owners, contractors, distributors, and manufacturers to provide customized solutions for both new construction and remodeling projects. Our team installs a wide variety of automotive service equipment, helping dealerships create safe, efficient, and functional work environments. Job Overview We are seeking a motivated, hardworking, and detail-oriented equipment Installer to join our growing team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the installation of a variety of equipment in automotive dealerships, including industrial shelving, workstations and toolboxes, shop furniture, freight lifts, and other automotive service equipment. As an Equipment Installer, you will be responsible for ensuring that installations are completed accurately and in accordance with customer specifications, technical requirements, safety standards, and project blueprints. Attention to detail and the ability to understand and follow plans and instructions are essential to success in this role. Responsibilities Install a variety of automotive dealership equipment, including industrial shelving, workstations, toolboxes, shop furniture, freight lifts, and other service equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, installation instructions, and project specifications. Measure, layout, level, and properly position equipment according to project plans and customer requirements. Safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, lifts, and other equipment necessary to complete installations. Work closely with project managers, contractors, dealership personnel, and other team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and correctly. Identify and troubleshoot installation issues and determine appropriate solutions in the field. Load, unload, transport, and organize equipment and materials as needed. Represent On Site Equipment Solutions professionally when working at customer and construction sites. Qualifications/ Requirements Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. Will be required to travel weekly throughout the centeral, south and west Texas area. Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn new equipment and installation techniques. Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, measurements, and technical instructions. Comfortable using a variety of hand tools and power tools. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work independently as well as effectively as part of a team. Ability to safely lift, move, and handle heavy equipment and materials. Ability to work on ladders, lifts, and elevated surfaces when required. Willingness to work in construction environments and adapt to changing job-site conditions. Ability to pass any required background or employment screening. Preferred Qualifications 1-3 years of experience in equipment installation, construction, electrical, mechanical, or automotive-related work. Familiarity with automotive dealership service departments or automotive shop equipment. Experience operating forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, or other material-handling equipment. Welding or fabrication experience is a plus.
Pay:
$40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
