ST Shift Position Summary:
Seeking motivated and reliable individuals to join our team as Assemblers on 1st shift. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling trailer components using hand tools, power tools, and various manufacturing equipment. Assemblers play a key role in producing high-quality trailers that meet our production and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, or instructions to assemble trailers and trailer components.
Use hand tools, pneumatic tools, and other mechanical equipment to perform assembly tasks.
Measure, cut, position, and align parts according to specifications.
Inspect assembled parts and components to ensure they meet quality standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of required PPE.
Work effectively both independently and as part of a team to meet production goals.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in manufacturing or assembly is a plus but not required.
Must be able to read a tape measure accurately.
Basic mechanical skills and ability to use tools.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods.
Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced production environment.
Dependable attendance and punctuality.
Work Environment:
Manufacturing facility with moderate to high noise levels.
May involve exposure to varying temperatures depending on the season.
Standing, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
