Hire Schedule:
Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM-4:00 PM, with overtime on Fridays as needed Job Summary We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Cable/Wire Harness Assembler to join our production team. This position involves assembling cable and wire harnesses using hand tools, semi-automatic equipment, and detailed work instructions. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with small components, has good attention to detail, and can consistently produce quality work. Responsibilities Read and follow cable and wire harness assembly instructions. Gather the materials and tools needed to complete assigned work. Perform a variety of detailed hand-assembly operations. Operate semi-automatic equipment, including crimp presses, wire twisters, and wire strippers. Perform functional and continuity testing of wire harnesses and cable assemblies. Use a soldering iron to solder wires to switches and connectors. Perform visual and dimensional inspections of work in progress and finished products. Complete both repetitive and non-repetitive assembly tasks. Build cable assemblies according to established quality standards. Label wires and work with small parts and components. Maintain an organized and clean work area. Complete other production and assembly duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills Previous cable, wire harness, electronics, or assembly experience is preferred. Familiarity with cable assembly processes. Ability to read and follow detailed instructions. Comfortable using hand tools and production equipment. Ability to work with small parts. Ability to distinguish between different colored wires. Basic math skills. Basic computer skills. Strong attention to detail. Good verbal and written communication skills. Self-motivated and able to work independently. Must be a team player. Education High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and sit throughout the workday. Frequent use of hands and fingers for detailed assembly work. Ability to reach with hands and arms. Ability to occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 25 pounds. Ability to perform work requiring close and color vision, depth perception, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Work Environment Production/manufacturing environment. Moderate noise level. Combination of standing and seated workstations. Detail-oriented work involving small components and wiring. Attendance & Reliability Reliable attendance and punctuality are required. Employees are generally expected to work a minimum of 40 hours per week and be present for their scheduled shifts. Pay:
$15.00 per hour Expected hours: 36.0 - 40.0 per week
