Cabinet Assembler Crafted to Measure Midvale, UT Job Details Full-time $15 - $18 an hour 2 hours ago Benefits Paid time off Qualifications Carpentry Dimensional inspection Shop math High school diploma or GED Driver's License Attention to detail Construction experience Full Job Description Crafted to Measure is looking for a detail-oriented Cabinet Assembler to join our production team. In this role, you'll build custom cabinetry from cut components to finished product, ensuring every piece meets our quality standards before it reaches the client. Responsibilities Assemble cabinet boxes, drawers, doors, and face frames according to shop drawings and cut lists Install hardware including hinges, drawer slides, pulls, and knobs Apply glue, fasteners, and joinery techniques (dowels, pocket screws, biscuits, etc.) to construct sturdy, square cabinet units Check measurements and squareness throughout assembly using squares, levels, and tape measures Sand and prep assembled pieces for finishing Inspect finished units for defects, gaps, or misalignment and make corrections as needed Coordinate with the cutting/milling team and finishing department to keep production flowing smoothly Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation Follow all safety protocols when operating shop tools and equipment Qualifications Previous experience in cabinet making, woodworking, or furniture assembly preferred Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and cut lists Familiarity with hand and power tools (drills, pneumatic nailers, sanders, etc.) Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment High school diploma or equivalent Preferred Experience with custom or semi-custom cabinetry Knowledge of different wood species, veneers, and laminates Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions
