Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Fabricator to oversee and coordinate cabinetry and woodworking fabrication activities within our shop. In this pivotal role, you may lead an Assistant, ensuring that all components are fabricated accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with industry standards. Your expertise in wood fabrication, blueprint reading, and custom fabrication techniques will drive quality and productivity on the shop floor. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence project outcomes, uphold safety protocols, and foster a culture of craftsmanship and continuous improvement. Duties Lead and supervise fabrication team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards. Interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings to guide fabrication processes accurately. Coordinate the cutting of sheet goods, fabrication and assembly of product such as wood hoods, floating shelves, mantels, floating vanities and more. Ensure adherence to safety protocols across all fabrication activities and maintain a safe working environment. Operate power tools and hand tools effectively for fabrication tasks while maintaining equipment in optimal condition. Demonstrated proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings for fabrication projects. Ability to operate measuring instruments and other precision tools accurately. Mechanical knowledge of wood fabrication, assembly processes, and shop math fundamentals. Experience working with power tools, hand tools, and other fabrication machinery. Strong understanding of safety protocols and woodworking environments. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to guide a team effectively while maintaining high standards of quality. Prior experience interpreting mechanical blueprints and technical drawings is essential for success in this role. Pay:
$25.55 - $30.77 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 36.0 per week
