Job Title:

Assembler-CUG Job Description Join our dynamic team as an Assembler, where you will be responsible for gasketing sheet metal plates, using a tape gun to hold units together. You will work closely with a partner to ensure precision and quality in each plate gasketed. This position requires a commitment to building up to 400 plates per shift in a fast-paced department. Responsibilities Assemble sub-components and finished products, utilizing basic levels of product and process knowledge. Fit metal products using hand tools and power tools. Gasket sheet metal plates and use tape guns for unit assembly. Operate hand and power tools, as well as overhead cranes, to build heat exchangers. Perform fast-paced production and assembly tasks. Lift 60lbs+ to fit products together. Collaborate with one team member to fulfill product orders daily. Engage in lifting, climbing, standing, walking, and extending arms for extended periods. Essential Skills Proficiency in using hand and power tools. Ability to review and interpret assembly drawings and diagrams. Experience in operating overhead cranes. Familiarity with mechanical and blueprint reading. Additional Skills & Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required upon permanent conversion. Ability to lift 50lbs+ (40lbs+ independently). Capable of regular walking, sitting, and reaching for extended periods. Required to use hands for operating hand tools and power equipment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, VA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
