Job Description

Manufacturing Assembler Position Type:
Temp-to-Perm (direct hire) Position Overview Seeking a dependable Manufacturing Assembler for a fast-paced sheet metal manufacturing environment in Virginia. This position will assemble fabricated sheet metal products and enclosures using hand and power tools while maintaining quality, accuracy, and production standards. Key Responsibilities Assemble sheet metal products and enclosures according to work instructions and blueprints. Install nuts, bolts, rivets, and other hardware using hand and power tools. Identify, count, and properly label parts and components. Inspect powder-coated and painted parts for quality and appearance. Package completed products and prepare materials for shipment. Move materials using pallet jacks and, when qualified, forklifts. Maintain an organized and safe work area. Follow production instructions while working efficiently and accurately. Qualifications Experience using hand and power tools required. Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Ability to identify and work with metric and standard hardware. Basic math skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Sheet metal assembly experience and blueprint reading preferred. Forklift and pallet jack experience preferred. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and remain active throughout the shift. Strong attendance, reliability, and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
