Job Title:

Assembler Job Description In this role, you will be responsible for the assembly and quality checks of electrical or mechanical components, depending on the department. The position involves repetitive assembly tasks, with some bench assembly required. You will perform functional testing using high voltage and pressure drop air test equipment and utilize hand tools and smaller power tools in a quiet, clean shop environment. Responsibilities Follow departmental processes for assembly. Read multilevel BOMs, drawings, point-to-point wiring schematics, and work instructions. Perform repetitive line assembly and some bench assembly as needed. Place parts in specific relationships to achieve desired assembly levels. Use hand and power tools effectively. Conduct functional testing using high voltage and pressure drop air test equipment. Produce assemblies at a rate based on product route times and assembly processes. Achieve independent proficiency in 2 to 4 months per assembly station. Adapt to different assembly stations as production needs change. Understand and follow safety regulations. Take direction from Line Lead or manager. Essential Skills Ability to read and understand drawings, wiring schematics, and work instructions. Proficiency in mechanical and electrical assembly. Experience with industrial production and mechanical assembly. Skills in wiring and soldering. Knowledge of safety regulations. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience meeting Assembler 1 requirements. Familiarity with high voltage and pressure drop air test equipment. Work Environment The work will be completed in a warehouse and assembly environment, where individuals will work as part of a team on the electrical or mechanical assembly team. The shop is quiet and clean, offering a conducive environment for focused work. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Spokane, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
