Manufacturing / Production / Assembly Positions available on 1st and 2nd shift in Brodhead, Evansville and Stoughton areas. Position Overview We are seeking dependable and mechanically inclined Production Assemblers to perform hands-on assembly work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Assemblers will use a variety of hand and power tools to build components and subassemblies while following blueprints, measurements, quality requirements, and established production procedures. This position is well suited for candidates with experience in manufacturing, mechanical assembly, construction, fabrication, automotive work, or other hands-on environments . Key Responsibilities Assemble manufactured components and subassemblies according to production specifications Position and fasten parts using bolts, screws, rivets, and other fasteners Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently Drill through materials including aluminum, steel, and wood Prepare metal surfaces and components for assembly Apply caulk to seams and joints as required Assemble mechanical and structural components Perform measurement layouts according to blueprints Read and follow blueprints, work instructions, and company documentation Measure materials and components accurately using a tape measure Inspect completed work to maintain production and quality standards Work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment Maintain a clean and safe work area Communicate and work effectively with other production team members Maintain dependable and consistent attendance Work mandatory overtime when required Perform additional production and assembly duties as assigned The position specifically requires safe, accurate, timely work, teamwork, regular attendance, and availability for mandatory overtime. Tools & Equipment Assemblers may work with equipment such as: Hand and power drills Hammers Rivet and Huck guns Impact wrenches Grinders and disk sanders Routers Caulk guns Chisels Hydraulic punches Pneumatic squeezers Drill presses Table saws Tape measures The attached description identifies these and similar tools as part of the assembly environment. Qualifications Previous manufacturing or assembly experience preferred Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with hand and power tools Ability to read and understand basic blueprints Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure Basic math skills Strong attention to detail and quality Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Good problem-solving and reasoning skills Ability to work at a fast production pace Willingness to learn different assembly processes Ability to work independently and as part of a team Dependable attendance and punctuality Willingness to work overtime when required The source description does not require a specific education level, license, or certification , but it does require blueprint and tape-measure reading, basic math, communication, measuring, reasoning, and problem-solving abilities. Work Environment This is a hands-on industrial manufacturing position requiring employees to work around production tools and equipment while maintaining established safety and quality standards. Required PPE may include safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, and hearing protection , along with additional safety equipment depending on the assigned work.
