Job Description

Overview:
FORCE America, Inc is looking to fill an opening for an Assembly Technician Lead. A qualified team leader will be responsible for managing and motivating team members on a daily basis with a goal of 100% on-time delivery. The team leader will be responsible for maintaining company goals, safety practices, quality expectations, and delivery expectations while reducing costs. The team leader will also be responsible for promoting a positive workplace culture and engaging with team members on a daily basis.
Essential Responsibilities:
Strong communication skills Clearly communicate deadlines with team Prioritize production orders with Production Manager and Material CoordinatorsRecord daily goals and metrics on Town Hall log sheetsCommunicate metrics, announcements, and expectations to team members across all shiftsCommunicate delivery timelines between departmentsCommunicate production support needs to engineering teamsTrain new employeesMaintain and promote a clean, safe, and orderly work environmentMaintain system accuracy and record data transactions Communicate performance feedback to team membersRecognize training needs and provide coachingPromote an engaged team culture through positive recognitionHold team members accountable to company policiesPerform quality checks / inspections
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED1 year of assembly experience preferredStrong comprehension of verbal and written work expectationsAble to work independently and within a team environmentStrong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize in order to meet the expectations of the customerDetail oriented and motivated to provide the highest level of qualityFamiliar with Microsoft Office tools including, Outlook, Word, Excel, and Web applications.
