•Welder for 1st Shift. General Assemblers are responsible for assembling parts according to special instructions, routings, and blueprints.

Responsibilities:

Position and assembles parts according to special instructions, routings, and blueprints. Measures parts to specified tolerances. Operate lathe, milling machine, hand tools, and pneumatic tools to aid in assembly. Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations. Complete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision. Assist machine operators with moving materials and preparing materials for production. Utilize TIG welding to weld gears/hexes on to the ends of our coating rods. All other tasks as necessary.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Must be able to read and interpret drawings, use simple math, and use basic handheld measuring tools. Must be able to adequately use handheld power tools. Demonstrate a positive attitude, be able to work in a team environment, be respectful to all members of the organization and display effective communication skills.

Required Education/Experience:

High School Diploma/GED Equivalent. Minimum 1 year of factory related experience. Physical Conditions / Working Environment Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly Must be able to sit or stand, bend and move about the facility
