Job Description

About the Role As a Metal Fabrication Specialist, you will play a vital role in transforming raw components into high-precision weldments that meet rigorous quality standards. You will utilize your expertise in TIG and GMAW welding, blueprint interpretation, and fabrication techniques to ensure our production output is both accurate and efficient. Responsibilities Execute complex welding and fitting tasks on ferrous and non-ferrous metals to meet project specifications. Interpret technical blueprints and utilize precision measurement tools to ensure dimensional accuracy. Maintain high quality control standards by performing thorough weld inspections and documenting work progress. Operate essential fabrication equipment, including jib cranes and hoists, to manage material handling safely. Collaborate with the production team to assist in fixture design and process improvements. Adhere to established safety protocols and quality management systems to maintain a secure and productive environment. Mentor junior team members to foster a culture of craftsmanship and continuous improvement. Qualifications Required Skills Proven proficiency in TIG and GMAW welding processes. Strong ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and GD&T specifications. Experience using precision measurement tools such as weld gauges, squares, and calipers. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks in a manufacturing setting. Commitment to safety standards and quality assurance procedures. Preferred Skills Technical Diploma in Welding or related fabrication field. Current
AWS D1.1
certification or equivalent industry credentials. Four or more years of hands-on experience in a professional welding environment. Experience working within ISO-certified quality systems. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot fabrication challenges independently.
