Job Description
This is a first shift opportunity with a large, expanding company!
Hours:
6am-4:00pm Monday through Thursday with opportunity for overtime
Pay:
$19.00 per hour
Position Summary:
The heavy assembler is responsible for measuring and assembling components for industrial structures. This role plays a key part in ensuring customer expectations are met through quality workmanship, on-time completion of orders, and adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute to a proactive safety culture.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Build custom structures using hand and power tools
Utilize measuring tools and cutting equipment.
Maintain a high level of quality and attention to detail while meeting production deadlines.
Communicate effectively with internal teams and customers regarding packaging and shipping needs.
Follow all company safety rules, policies, and procedures to support a safe work environment.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Ability to read and follow work instructions and specifications.
Experience using measuring tools and basic cutting equipment preferred.
Ability to use hand and power tools
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as required.
