In this role, you'll work with lumber, construction materials, blueprints, and power tools to build high-quality structural components used in residential construction. Key Responsibilities Assemble residential wall, floor, and roof framing components Build roof and floor trusses according to blueprints and shop drawings Measure, cut, position, and fasten lumber using hand and power tools Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders Load materials and finished products onto carts or pallets Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met Operate equipment such as saws, routers, presses, staple guns, and other production tools Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Work closely with team members to meet production goals and project deadlines Follow all company safety policies and procedures Required Qualifications Previous construction, framing, carpentry, truss assembly, or manufacturing experience preferred Ability to accurately read a tape measure Comfortable using hand tools and power tools Ability to read blueprints or willingness to learn Strong attention to detail and quality Ability to lift 50-80 pounds throughout the day Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying Wisconsin weather conditions Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to work independently and as part of a team
