Truss Assembler 1st and 2nd shift with differential on 2nd STL Staffing - 3.3 Green Bay, WI Job Details Full-time From $20 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Qualifications Measuring tapes Outdoor work experience Basic math Dimensional measurements Materials handling Manufacturing Safety standard operating procedures Hand tools Full Job Description Truss Assembler Green Bay, WI | On-site | $20.00/hr + $0.75/hr shift differential for outside work About the Role We are hiring Truss Assemblers to support the production in a manufacturing environment. In this hands-on role, you will assemble trusses using lumber, metal plates, and tools while following safety and quality standards. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with the potential to move into a long-term position based on performance and business needs. You will work alongside a team that values safety, reliability, and consistent production. Key Responsibilities
  • Lay out lumber, plates, and materials for truss assembly
  • Assemble truss components following instructions and shop drawings
  • Read and measure accurately using a tape measure
  • Use hand tools such as hammers and learn to operate basic production equipment
  • Load, stack, and band finished trusses on carts or pallets
  • Assist with receiving, staging, and moving materials
  • Support production flow by assisting other work areas as needed
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Follow all safety rules, procedures, and PPE requirements Requirements
  • Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately (required)
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors, including in cold weather (required)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally
  • Comfort working in a physically demanding, noisy, and dusty environment
  • Basic reading and math skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work safely as part of a team
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed
Pay:
From $20.00 per hour
