Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for assembling components and products with precision, adhering to safety standards, and supporting continuous process improvements. Your expertise will contribute directly to the production of high-quality equipment, ensuring efficiency and safety at every step. Responsibilities Assemble mechanical components and systems using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments according to technical drawings and production documents. Interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions to ensure accurate construction of products. Operate forklifts and other factory equipment safely to transport materials within the manufacturing facility. Conduct manual handling tasks, including heavy lifting, while following proper safety protocols to prevent injuries. Support process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting enhancements to streamline assembly procedures. Maintain a clean, organized work area in compliance with safety standards in production environments. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets while adhering to quality control standards. Skills Proven experience working in a factory or manufacturing facility environment with a strong understanding of assembly processes. Proficiency in using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges for quality assurance. Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and assembly line operations. Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and production documentation accurately. Familiarity with forklift operation and heavy lifting techniques aligned with safety standards in production settings. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and process improvement methodologies. Strong adherence to safety protocols in manufacturing environments, including safety standards in production and safety protocol adherence.
