Assembler Responsibilities:

• Move panels around warehouse, accurately fill parts orders and label and palletize onto skids
• Use drilling fixture or jigs to drill holes in panels
• Install hardware: screws, nuts & bolts, windows, labels, aluminum retainer, L brackets, horizontal and side seal, etc.
• Notify lead person of problems with levels on inventory and questions on jobs or assemblies
• Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.
• Prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
• Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements Requirements for

Assembler:

• At least one year of assembly experience preferred
• Ability to use a tape measurer with accuracy, experience with staple gun, wrenches, hammer, hand drills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to read and understand drawings and written instructions related to panel assembly operations
• Ability to stand for duration of shift
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Ability to bend and twist throughout shift
