Job Description
About This Job At HUI Manufacturing, you play a vital role in our production team by building high-quality products during our evening hours. This hands-on position uses mechanical skills and blueprints to create finished products from components we make. Work in an independent environment to maintain a steady workflow, ensuring production meets our daily targets. Your work directly impacts our ability to deliver reliable, top-tier products to our customers on schedule. Job Duties and Responsibilities Builds complex structures by performing precise mechanical assembly operations using specialized hand tools and power tools. Interprets engineering drawings and blueprints to guide accurate metal fabrication and component placement. Inspects finished items against strict quality control standards to catch defects early. Follows all safety procedures to maintain a secure and hazard-free workspace for yourself and your peers. Required Qualifications Must be able to start and train on 1st shift for at least 8 weeks before moving to 2nd shift. Education & Experience Holds a high school diploma or an equivalent certification. Hands-on experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment a plus. Knowledge and Skills Executes mechanical assembly tasks with speed and precision. Operates various hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Applies quality control checks to verify product integrity. Adheres strictly to workplace safety procedures. Works well on your own, showing a productive pace throughout the entire 2nd shift. Physical Requirements and Work Conditions Stands for long periods during the 2nd shift. Lifts and carries heavy materials weighing up to fifty pounds. Wears required personal protective equipment, including safety glasses and steel-toe boots. Thrives in a fast-paced industrial workshop setting. Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance
