Nigrelli, Inc. is a locally owned manufacturing company based in the Kiel/School Hill area. Our AquaMaster division has manufactured high-quality fountains and aeration systems since 1983. We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Motor Assembly Technician to join our production team. This position is responsible for testing motors, assembling power units, installing electrical and mechanical components, and documenting test results. This is a hands-on position that is ideal for someone who enjoys building products, working with tools, and making sure each completed unit meets quality standards. Schedule Full-time position Monday through Friday No rotating shifts Compensation Compensation is based on relevant experience and qualifications What You'll Do Bench test motors to verify that they meet required performance standards Document problems with motors that do not pass testing and move them to the designated vendor-return area Install top plates and complete motor wiring Solder and pot electrical connections with epoxy as required Assemble motor components using the appropriate clamps and hardware Install seals and seal cartridges Fill cartridges and motor housings with the designated oil Test completed power units to confirm proper operation Move completed units to the designated inventory location or stage them for shipping Process production jobs in the company's ERP system Verify bill of materials accuracy Communicate inventory or bill of materials discrepancies to support accurate MRP processing Operate a forklift as needed Use hand and power tools safely Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Follow company safety procedures and PPE requirements Complete other duties as assigned What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent Previous assembly, manufacturing, electrical, mechanical, or production experience preferred Experience using hand and power tools Basic mechanical aptitude Ability to follow written work instructions and established procedures Strong attention to detail and quality Basic computer skills and willingness to use an ERP system Ability to communicate material or production discrepancies Ability to work independently and as part of a team Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic Forklift experience preferred; training may be provided Soldering or electrical wiring experience is helpful but not required Why Work for Nigrelli, Inc.? Employees may be required to climb on and off a forklift. The position requires frequently lifting up to 50 pounds and occasionally lifting up to 95 pounds. Employees must also possess the visual ability necessary to inspect components, perform assembly work, and safely operate equipment.
