$19.00 / hour Description Responsible for preparing, assembling, testing, and packaging according to the production schedule. Key Responsibilities Responsible for preparing, assembling, testing, and packaging according to operating instructions. Meets daily production schedule as assigned. Operates various workstations to complete assembly of scheduled parts. Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per Franklin Fueling Systems. Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures. Report problems with quality, process, equipment, and materials to Production Supervisor. Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions. Performs other duties as required or assigned. Skills Knowledge and Expertise Skills and Abilities Works with various hand and power tools. Reads and understands documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Utilizes common sense understanding in order to carry out written, oral, or diagrammed instructions. Provides accurate work on a consistent basis meeting precise tolerances and standards. Interpersonal skills sufficient to work closely with others on a team. Ability to demonstrate flexibility in work environment performing a variety of frequently changing tasks. Ability to work alone effectively under stress and in situations dangerous to self or others. Completes some moderately repetitive tasks. Education and Experience High School Diploma or Equivalent (required). Six months or more experience working in a manufacturing type position (preferred). Computer Skills Basic computer knowledge (required).
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES
While performing the functions of this job, the employee is: Continually required to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 10 lbs.; stand. Regularly required to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 lbs.; push or pull; walk. Occasionally required to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.; sit; ascend or descend ladders, stairs, or ramps; turn wrenches, valves, or handles; bend or twist; use upper extremities; reach above shoulders; reach to full extension. Specific vision abilities required by this job include regular peripheral viewing; viewing length changes; close viewing with depth perception; and occasional distance viewing. Specific hearing abilities required by this job include the need to perceive the spoken voice clearly and the need to hear warning signals up to 70dbs with or without assistance. Specific speech abilities regularly required by this job include comprehensible speech.
