A Production Fabricator or Assembler constructs and assembles a wide range of products, such as engines, computers, aircraft, ships, boats, toys, electronic devices, and control panels, as well as the individual parts that make up these products.
$20.82/hour ($21.82/hour after transitioning to 2nd shift with $1.00 shift differential)

Overview The Assembler performs a variety of operations fitting together manufactured and purchased parts into mechanical, electrical, or combined subassemblies and complete products. This role requires reading blueprints, operating assembly tools and machinery, conducting quality inspections, and maintaining productivity and safety reports. Candidates train on 1st shift until able to work independently before transitioning to 2nd shift. Job Specifications Read and interpret blueprints, routings, and work order instructions to assemble parts to required specifications. Assemble manufactured and purchased parts into subassemblies or complete mechanical and electrical products. Perform first-piece inspections and ongoing quality checks to ensure overall product quality. Operate assembly equipment including rivet machines, assembly presses, and power tools. Execute routine maintenance on tools/equipment and maintain a neat, clean, and safe work area. Follow all safety rules, including proper machine operation and machine guarding protocols. Maintain simple reports on productivity, quality, and safety metrics. Perform physical work involving frequent standing, sitting, bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 30 lbs. frequently. Utilize manual dexterity and corrected visual acuity to operate equipment and inspect parts.
