Reporting to the Plant Superintendent, the assembler is responsible for the repair/service of spreader rolls in accordance with company business goals. Demonstrate interpersonal skills that are supportive of a collaborative work environment, work from verbal instructions, not afraid of heights, good mechanical aptitude.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
Ability to: Read diagrams, blue-prints Repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs. Repeatedly push, pull, bend and squat Handle and use measuring devices such as measuring tapes, calipers, and micrometers. Dissassemble and clean parts using a variety of hand tools and cleaning solutions. Operate a variety of hand tools, wrenches, wire cutter, screwdrivers, as well as using air drills, sanders and grinders. Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and ther lifting devices. Assemble companants together based on diagrams and instructions. Stand and be on your feet the majority of the work day.QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.Preferred Experience:
Hands on experience with assembly, basic mechamnical aptitude, and general problem solving knowledge.Experience:
On the job training will be provided. Other combinations of experience and education that meet requirements may be substituted. Posses basic computer skills and ability to accurately complete and process paperwork.WHAT WE OFFER
