Job Description
Position Summary:
Inspects, grades, packages using both hands to maintain an even production flow of products according to marketing specifications on a rotation basis on production line's conveyor system, by performing the following duties. Primary duties and responsibilities : Estimate weight of product visually. Verify count, look at, handle product, as required by its nature, to determine grade and identify substandard products Place rejected products and individual grades of products in designated piles, containers, or areas. Add supplemental product to bring original product into specifications. Reports major breakdowns or problems to the line operator Notify Supervisor of any mechanical or material issues Assemble product according to customer specification Inspect and insert product at various positions along the line and discard poor product Maintain a safe and clean work area Maintain adherence to company policies, safety standards, and good manufacturing practices Must wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as provide. Must follow all plant food safety and person safety rules and procedures Perform other duties and assignments as required Observe products moving quickly on a conveyor system for up to 3 1/2 hours at one time This role will require extended hours based on production needs, including work to be performed after regular business hours and on weekends.

•Education, prior work experience and specialized skill and knowledge: Ability to understand and communicate effectively. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, round, compute averages and percentages, and interpret bar graphs.
Physical environment/working conditions:
The employee is required to walk, stand, use hands, fingers, and arms to handle, feel and reach. This position is regularly exposed to wet, warm, humid, and cold temperatures and loud noise levels. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
