09/03/2026 Job Description Job Description First Shift, 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Monday-Friday (No Weekends )Position Description:
This position is responsible for assembling, installing, and testing custom equipment and systems on industrial bins, hoppers, silos, and tanks. Each project is unique and requires the ability to read blueprints, install customer-supplied equipment, perform system testing, and maintain high standards of safety and quality. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team while performing all other duties as assigned.Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret customer and company mechanical and electrical blueprints.
- Unpack, inspect, inventory, and document customer-supplied equipment and parts.
- Install customer-supplied equipment according to project specifications and blueprints.
- Install black steel, galvanized, and PVC piping as required.
- Install conduit and wiring and terminate wiring on equipment and panels.
- Perform pressure, continuity, and other required system tests.
- Complete plumbing and wiring installations on tanks and silos.
- Communicate and coordinate with customers and inspectors.
- Safely operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas through daily housekeeping.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical blueprints.
- Experience with industrial assembly, equipment installation, piping, or related work is preferred.
- Ability to safely operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and rigging equipment.
- Basic mechanical aptitude required; electrical knowledge is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Solid verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of industrial assembly, equipment installation, and piping systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Flexible and capable of performing in a fast-paced environment.
