Description:

Job Description This Manufacturing Technician role focuses on assembling, testing, and calibrating complex scientific instruments to support production goals within a dedicated work cell. The position involves hands-on assembly, material handling, inventory verification, and active participation in a collaborative, continuous-improvement culture. Responsibilities Build, test, and calibrate all levels of assemblies for complex scientific instruments according to established procedures and quality standards. Install completed assemblies into final instrument builds to ensure proper fit, function, and performance. Follow detailed mechanical, electrical, and optical work instructions with accuracy and consistency. Perform mechanical assembly using hand tools and other appropriate equipment. Essential Skills Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment. Proficiency in mechanical assembly using hand tools. Work Environment This role is based in a climate-controlled manufacturing environment. The schedule is a first-shift assignment, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Verona, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
