Job Description
Company Overview Axis Industries USA is a growing, hands-on wiring harness engineering and manufacturing shop based in Waterford, Wisconsin. We support both commercial and defense-related customers, with a strong concentration in automotive and off-road vehicle applications. As a small, agile team, we value individuals who take ownership of their work and want to directly contribute to the success of the company. Position Summary We are seeking a skilled Electrical Harness Assembler to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and supporting electrical wiring harnesses used in high-performance off-road vehicles. This position works closely with engineering and production staff to ensure assemblies meet design intent, quality standards, and customer expectations. Key Duties & Responsibilities Build complete wiring harness assemblies according to drawings and specifications Read and interpret schematics, prints, and engineering documentation Work alongside engineers to resolve build issues and improve designs Perform inspections and checks to verify workmanship and component accuracy Support general shop operations as needed Keep work areas clean, safe, and well organized Qualifications & Skills Dependable transportation and a valid driver's license Basic knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and components Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, team-oriented environment Capable of lifting boxes weighing up to 80 lbs Strong attention to detail with solid troubleshooting abilities Comfortable working around high-value vehicles and equipment Effective communication skills and willingness to collaborate across teams Physically able to bend, reach, stand, walk, and sit for extended periods Comfortable working in a dog-friendly shop environment (we have a friendly chocolate lab on site) Compensation & Benefits Benefits eligibility begins after 90 days Medical, dental, and vision insurance Nine paid holidays per year Five days of paid vacation after the first full year of employment Approved overtime opportunities Work Schedule & Location Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (30-minute lunch) On-site position in Waterford, WI 53185
