Job Title:
Assembler Job Description The Assembler fabricates, assembles, and packages high-quality stainless steel utility carts and related products, ensuring each unit meets established quality and production standards. Responsibilities Fabricate stainless steel utility carts and related products according to specifications and production requirements. Perform mechanical assembly tasks using hand tools and power tools in a safe and efficient manner. Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions to assemble components accurately. Inspect parts and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards before packaging. Package assembled products securely to prevent damage during storage and shipment. Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety and housekeeping guidelines. Follow standard procedures and guidelines consistent with Standard Assembler Level 2 requirements. Collaborate with production team members and support general labor tasks as needed to meet daily output goals. Essential Skills At least 1 year of assembly experience in a manufacturing environment. Solid tenure and consistent work history. Proficiency in mechanical assembly tasks. Ability to use hand tools safely and effectively. Ability to operate power tools in a production setting. Capability to perform general labor duties in support of production operations. Experience working in a production environment with established processes and workflows. Ability to read and interpret blueprints for assembly purposes. Qualification at Standard Assembler Level 2 or equivalent experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience assembling stainless steel or metal products. Familiarity with quality checks and visual inspections in a production setting. Comfort working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Work Environment This role is based in a manufacturing facility focused on producing stainless steel utility carts and related products. The position operates on a first shift schedule, but 2nd shift is also available. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Waukesha, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.34 - $20.34/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
